CHAMPAGNE JAILLANT & CO
Our story
ANTICIPATE, CREATE & REINVENT
Around 1860, Eunésime Cadet, the great-grandfather of the estate's founder, had the foresight to acquire our land long before it was officially recognised as part of the Champagne appellation. It was not until 1927 that the Montgueux hillside was incorporated into the Champagne Appellation area.
One Family, One Vineyard,
One Entrepreneurial Spirit
In 1975, Jean-Pierre Jaillant, an iconic figure of the estate renowned for his vision, boldness and pursuit of excellence, planted the very first vines on the family land.

Year after year, the vineyard expanded thanks to his dedication, precision and constant desire to improve values that continue to guide the Jaillant family today.
TOWARDS A NEW HORIZON
ANNE-FRANÇOISE JAILLANT
The 2000s marked a turning point in the history of the estate, combining the transmission of traditional vineyard expertise with the creation of a resolutely modern Champagne brand.

Although her professional path initially lay elsewhere, Anne-Françoise Jaillant chose to return to the family estate. She undertook specialist training while benefiting from the invaluable guidance and hands-on support of her father.

Her ambition was to preserve and develop the family business, honouring more than 40 years of dedication by her parents while bringing her own vision as a woman looking confidently towards the future.

From this new chapter were born the City, Spirit, Lady and Rosé cuvées—Champagnes with a distinctive identity, combining modernity, elegance and character through their names, their style and the unique moments they are designed to accompany.
